Photographs of Queen Sheros
The Silver Living Legacies Extraordinaire: Women of Distinction (SLLEWD) is a massive photographic project that depicts twenty-four women who have and are making a difference in Atlanta. The Silver Living “Sheros” are all over sixty years of age. Through a unique photographic imaging process and autobiographical essays, the SIlver Living Legacies Extraordinaire will be accessible in a series of public, photographic exhibitions, as well as a black and white coffee table book highlighting each Shero. In honoring these Queen Mothers who are living legacies of knowledge, wisdom, love, strength of gentle character and kind hearts, we salute you! The comradery, familiarity, and friendship surrounds them with the spirit that has helped make Atlanta the city that it is.
